Reading this, we can see why this is an important and also very challenging topic, i.e. thinking from different angles such as vehicle dynamics, traffic conditions, specific human/culture styles, and validation methods… We are trying to tackle it using the combination of AI data learning and optimal control, coupling with various testing activities (simulation, full vehicle).
This project is in collaboration with leading researchers from KU Leuven (ESAT and Mech Dept.), and funded by the Flemish VLAIO Baekeland PhD research scheme.
